Lebanon Junction is located in southern Bullitt County, on the southeastern edge of Fort Knox. Interstate 65 passes through the city, with access to the downtown area from Exit 105. Via I-65 it is 13 miles (21 km) north to Shepherdsville , the county seat, and 32 miles (51 km) north to downtown Louisville .
Pioneer Village is located in northern Bullitt County. It is bordered by the city of Hillview to the north and west, and the city of Hebron Estates is to the south. Downtown Louisville is 16 miles (26 km) to the north. According to the United States Census Bureau, Pioneer Village has a total area of 0.73 square miles (1.9 km 2), all land. [6]
Bullitt's Lick is a historic salt lick 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Shepherdsville in Bullitt County, Kentucky. It was the first commercial supplier of salt in Kentucky, and the first industry in Kentucky as well, supplying jobs for many residents but also using slaves.
Brooks is located in northern Bullitt County. Its northern border is the county line, with Louisville/Jefferson County to the north. The eastern edge of the CDP is formed by Interstate 65, with access from Exit 121 (John Harper Highway). It is 15 miles (24 km) south of downtown Louisville via I-65.
