This controls what happens when you click the image in a preview. "imagepage" takes you to the image page (and will generate a subpopup when you hover over the image), unless the popup is generated for the image page; "sizetoggle" means the image size is toggled on click, and "linkfull" means that the image links directly to the full size version.
The users can set their Special:Preferences to select their default image size (such as: 250px, 180px, or 120px), for whichever handheld device they use for viewing Wikipedia pages. Specifying a size does not just change the apparent image size using HTML; it actually generates a resized version of the image on the fly and links to it appropriately. An image size can be changed in several ways. Consider resizing a 160x160 pixel photo to the following 40x40 pixel thumbnail and then scaling the thumbnail to a 160x160 pixel image. Also consider doubling the size of the following image containing text.
