Cheruvally is a Village in Chirakkadavu panchayat of Kottayam district in Kerala. It is in Kanjirappally taluk, Kottayam district. There is a Bhadrakali temple viz., Cheruvally Devi Temple in Cheruvally.
Maisigandi Maisamma Mandiram Kadthal is located in Kadthal Mandal, Maisigandi village. [1] Maisigandi is a small village along the Srisailam Hyderabad highway. [2] The temple of Maisamma (local name for Goddess Mahakali) is just in the outskirts of Maisigandi village.
Prior to 1989, the village was facing several problems such as migration of the villagers to the nearby urban areas, high crime and scarcity of water. [3] In 1990, after Popatrao Baguji Pawar was elected as the sarpanch (village chief), the village used funds from government schemes and launched a program to recover its past glory. [3]

During the later period, the village was part of the territories of Sambuvarayas and Kumara Kampana. The Vijayanagara emperor Krishnadevaraya (1502–29) made contributions to the Sundaravarada Perumal Temple, Subhramanya temple and Kailasanatha temple. The village was the scene of war between Lingma and Yachama during the 17th century.
It is the cleanest village in Karnataka and the second cleanest village in India. The two unique rock outcrops after the village are tourist attractions and easily approachable by two routes one from Kumta-Sirsi Highway by a small trek through 0.5 kilometres (0.31 mi) the thick forests from the nearest road head and another from Sirsi-Ankola Road.
Bagrian is a village located in Sangrur District, in Punjab, India which has a significant place in Sikh history. Now Called it by Bagrian Haveli name. [2] [3] [4]The House of Bagrian owned much of the land and the haveli in the village, where certain important artifacts that belonged to the Sikh Gurus are kept.
