The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show is a flower show held annually since 1995 in early April each year except 2020, in Melbourne, Australia. It is located in the World Heritage Site of Carlton Gardens and the Royal Exhibition Building. [1]

The Royal Exhibition Building is used to this day as an exhibition venue for various festivals and fairs such as Melbourne Fashion Festival, Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show and Brickvention. During the recent Covid-19 pandemic, the building was used as a mass vaccination centre, operated by St Vincent's Hospital. [30]
There was no Show in 1915 to 1918 and 1940 to 1945 when the Showgrounds were requisitioned for military use during WWI and WWII.
