Ponguru Narayana (born 15 June 1957) is an Indian educationist turned politician in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. [2] He was elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council in 2014 and served as the Minister for Municipal administration and Urban development & Urban Housing. [ 3 ]
The Minister is one of the senior-most members of the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet. From June 2014 to May 2019, following the bifurcation of United Andhra Pradesh into the present-day residual Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the Minister of Municipal Administration & Urban Development was Ponguru Narayana of the Telugu Desam Party.

Rev. Nicholas Noyes II was the son of Rev. Nicholas Noyes and Mary Cutting Noyes, grandson of the Rev. William Noyes, and nephew of Rev. James Noyes. He graduated at Harvard in 1667, and, after preaching thirteen years in Haddam, Connecticut, he moved in 1683 to Salem, where he was minister until his death in Salem. [2]
His father, Payyavula Venkata Narayana was elected as an MLA from Rayadurg constituency in 1975 and also served as the DCC President of the Indian National Congress party in Ananthapuram district. [3] The family traditionally relied on agriculture as their main occupation. He was the younger son of his parents who had 2 sons and 5 daughters.
Sankaranarayana began his political entry by joining Telugu Desam Party in 1995. He became Municipal councillor of Dharmavaram in 2005. He joined YSR Congress Party in 2011. In 2014 assembly elections he contested from Penukonda seat was defeated [4] [5] [6] by B K Parthasarathi of TDP, with 17,415 margin.
Narayana Gowda was born on 21 July 1966 to Chikkegowda and Puttamma in Kaigonahalli, Krishnarajpet, Mandya, Karnataka. [3] Narayana Gowda has three brothers and two sisters. He studied up to seventh standard and was doing some odd jobs. At the age of 17, he left for Mumbai (then Bombay) in search of a livelihood.
