Hello everyone, I just wanted to say, the Tu-4 seems to be unplayable sometimes. The Tu-4 sits at 8.0 where it gets put into the matchmaker of seeing jets, now this is fine most times, but sometimes you can see Me-163s on the enemy team and they have the power to climb up to altitude fast because they have rocket engines with lots of thrust. The other issue with the Tu-4 is when you go against ...
Hello guys, I want to discuss the dishonest change to the B29, why has everyone forgotten about the Tu-4? this is the same plane as the B29 only with better turrets, but in fact, on br 8.0 this does not save it in any way, I want them to finally reduce the outdated br Tu-4 to at least 7.3, to fight against spaa with radars and MRLS with infrared missiles as well as jet aircraft with infrared ...
It is true that the Tu-4 should not be at 8.0 B.R, but not much lower either, perhaps at 7.7. Its destructive defensive armament that disintegrates everything it touches and its large bomb load put it at that B.R. Especially the defensive armament, which is the main difference with the B-29.
Ok so G8N1, B-29, and Tu-4 get lowered. There goes the 6.0->6.7 br bracket since now its a carpet-bombed map. TyTheGuy27 November 10, 2023, 3:12am
The Tu-4 is sometimes defenceless. Realistic Battle. air, tu-4. 8: 905: January 19, 2024 Home ...
The Tu-4 had an overweight (63.6k kg) takeoff distance of 3830m according to Gordon/Rigmant in Red Star volume 7. The reference also states the first flight with a nuclear RSD-1 Bomb took place at Zhana-Semey airfield in Kazakhstan who’s runway is far shorter than 7km.
The B-29 should be 6.0/6.3, with the Tu-4 being 6.7. There’s no real reason (assuming all ~3.0-8.0 prop bombers are brought down like they should be) for any (piston) prop bomber to be at the same BR that most nations get their first jets.
The Tu-4 turrets are still death laser pointer at its BR since it was implemented in the game because it doesn’t have dead zone. Sure, some missiles such as Fireflash are a problem, but since most of the missiles used primarily in 8.0-9.0 are IR missiles so, simply setting the engine throttle to 0% will solve the problem.
Btw, the Tu-4 BR was once changed from 8.0 to 7.7 around 2020 or 2021, but the Tu-4 became completely untouchable for 6.7BR and 7.0BR aircrafts and was quickly returned to 8.0BR. NestleKitkat August 15, 2023, 7:58pm
