A degree (in full, a degree of arc, arc degree, or arcdegree), usually denoted by ° (the degree symbol), is a measurement of a plane angle in which one full rotation is 360 degrees. [ 4 ] It is not an SI unit —the SI unit of angular measure is the radian —but it is mentioned in the SI brochure as an accepted unit . [ 5 ]
The values of sine and cosine of 30 and 60 degrees are derived by analysis of the equilateral triangle. In an equilateral triangle, the 3 angles are equal and sum to 180°, therefore each corner angle is 60°. Bisecting one corner, the special right triangle with angles 30-60-90 is obtained.
A trigonometry table is essentially a reference chart that presents the values of sine, cosine, tangent, and other trigonometric functions for various angles. These angles are usually arranged across the top row of the table, while the different trigonometric functions are labeled in the first column on the left.
(This is the angle α opposite the "rise" side of a triangle with a right angle between vertical rise and horizontal run.) as a percentage, the formula for which is which is equivalent to the tangent of the angle of inclination times 100. In Europe and the U.S. percentage "grade" is the most commonly used figure for describing slopes.

Quadrant 3 (angles from 180 to 270 degrees, or π to 3π/2 radians): Tangent and cotangent functions are positive in this quadrant. Quadrant 4 (angles from 270 to 360 degrees, or 3π/2 to 2π radians): Cosine and secant functions are positive in this quadrant. N A Novile is an angle of 40°, which is 1 ⁄ 9 of the 360° ecliptic. An orb of ±1° is allowed. A Novile indicates an energy of perfection and/or idealization. [citation needed] Irreducible Multiples N 2 A Binovile is an angle of 80°, which is 2 ⁄ 9 of the 360° ecliptic. N 4 A Quadnovile is an angle of 160°, which is 4 ⁄ 9 of the 360 ...
One could say, "The Moon's diameter subtends an angle of half a degree." The small-angle formula can convert such an angular measurement into a distance/size ratio. Other astronomical approximations include: 0.5° is the approximate diameter of the Sun and of the Moon as viewed from Earth. 1° is the approximate width of the little finger at ...
