The Munich Stadtmuseum (German: "Münchner Stadtmuseum") or Munich City Museum, is the city museum of Munich. It was founded in 1888 by Ernst von Destouches. [ 1 ] It is located in the former municipal arsenal and stables, both buildings of the late Gothic period.
The Museum was listed in the Top 10 German galleries to visit in 2019. [7] [8] The exhibitions are accompanied by a program with artist and expert discussions, readings, tours and workshops. In 2019, the MUCA Museum and its projects counted over 100,000 visitors.
