Bailey was sworn in as the 17th mayor of the City of Riverside in 2012 [9] and was re-elected in 2016. [10] In 2019, Bailey announced that he would not seek another term as mayor and focus his efforts on the local homeless crisis as a non-profit executive for Path of Life Ministries. [11] [12] He currently works as a teacher at Poly High School.

Patricia Lock Dawson is an American politician who has been mayor of Riverside, California since 2020, when she was elected. Lock Dawson succeeded Rusty Bailey . She previously spent nine years on the Riverside Unified School District Board of Trustees.
He was elected to the Riverside City council in 1979, and served in that role until 1993. He was elected as the Mayor of Riverside in 1993, and was re-elected in 1997 , 2001 , 2005 , and 2009 . After a 30 year career in elected public service, Mayor Loveridge decided not to run for a 6th term and stepped down in 2012. [ 6 ]
