The Hiwassee/Ocoee Scenic River State Park is a Tennessee state park in Polk County, Tennessee, United States, that provides access to the Hiwassee and Ocoee rivers.. A 23-mile (37 km) stretch of the Hiwassee River, extending from the North Carolina state line to U.S. Route 411, was the first river to be designated by the State Scenic River Program. [1]

Wilson Cumberland Trail, is made up of land along the Cumberland Trail, stretching from Cumberland Gap at the Virginia state line to Prentice Cooper State Forest in Marion County, just northwest of Chattanooga. The Cherokee National Forest contains such notable sites as the Ocoee River (site of the 1996 Olympic whitewater events); 150 miles (240 km) of the Appalachian Trail; Citico Creek Wilderness; Big Frog Mountain within Big Frog Wilderness, and surrounds both the Tennessee Valley Authority Watauga Reservoir and Wilbur Reservoir.
Bakers was historically known as Bakers Station and Baker. [1] A post office was established as Bakers Station in 1875, renamed Baker in 1882, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1922. [2] The community was named for a member of the Baker family, the original owner of the town site. [3]
Baker Creek State Park is located adjacent to Lake Thurmond, near the town of McCormick in the county of McCormick, South Carolina. The park sits on land leased in 1967 from the US Army Corps of Engineers. [1] Amenities in the park include two campgrounds, a lakefront pavilion, boat ramps for access to the lake and picnic shelters.
The Wolf River rises in the Holly Springs National Forest at Baker's Pond in Benton County, Mississippi, north of Ashland, and flows northwest into Tennessee, draining a large portion of Memphis and northern and eastern Shelby County, Tennessee, before entering the Mississippi River near the northern end of Mud Island, north of downtown Memphis.

The Primm Springs Historic District in Primm Springs, Tennessee is a 8 acres (3.2 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The listing included 15 contributing buildings, three contributing structures, and two contributing sites. [1] It is the location of a historic mineral springs resort.
