Olancha is an unincorporated community located in the Owens Valley on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain range at the elevation of 3,650 feet (1,110 m), in Inyo County, California. It is on US Highway 395 near the junction of State Route 190, approximately 200 miles (320 km) due north of Los Angeles.
This was the second Trump-Irongate joint venture, and followed the more successful Trump International Hotel and Tower (Honolulu) venture. The project was to be a 3-tower, 25-story, 526-unit condo-hotel. [1] In late 2008, with the project experiencing delays and cost overruns, Trump removed his name from the development.

Olancha Peak is a mountain in the Sierra Nevada of California. It rises to an elevation of 12,132 feet (3,698 m) [ 1 ] on the Tulare-Inyo county line in the South Sierra Wilderness . [ 2 ] It takes its name from the nearby town of Olancha .
