The World Rowing Championships is an international rowing regatta organized by FISA (the International Rowing Federation). It is a week-long event held at the end of the northern hemisphere summer and in non- Olympic years is the highlight of the international rowing calendar.
The 2024 World Rowing Championships were held from 18 to 25 August 2024 at the Royal Canadian Henley Rowing Course in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. [1] The championship was a combined event of the Senior, Under 23, and Under 19 championships, however only non-Olympic and Paralympic senior races were included in these Worlds due to the 2024 Summer Olympics and Paralympics.
The 2024 British Rowing Championships were the 2024 edition of the National Senior and Junior Championships, held from 19 to 22 July 2024 at the National Water Sports Centre in Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham. [1] [2] [3] They were organised and sanctioned by British Rowing, and were open to British rowers.
