The 2025 Championship League Invitational (officially the 2025 BetVictor Championship League Invitational for sponsorship reasons) was a professional non‑ranking snooker tournament, which took place from 3 January 2025 to 5 February 2025 at the Leicester Arena in Leicester, England.
The first four frames in the second session were shared, with Allen winning the 11th frame on the last black ball, and the scores were level at 6–6 at the mid-session interval. Allen pulled ahead with a 102 break in frame 13, and went on to take the 14th frame after a safety battle on the last pink ball .
Held every year since 1975, it is the second-longest-running professional snooker tournament after the World Championship. It is one of the three Triple Crown events, along with the UK Championship and the World Championship. [2] Although not a ranking event, it is regarded as one of the most prestigious tournaments on the World Snooker Tour. [3]
