The 2024 SGB ROWE Motor Oil Premiership was the 89th season of the top tier of British speedway and the 7th known as the SGB Premiership. [1] The defending champions were Sheffield Tigers and Ipswich Witches were the defending Knockout Cup champions. Belle Vue Aces won the title, [2] while Sheffield Tigers won the Knockout Cup.
The final was held on 8 June at the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Dan Bewley won the title, beating Tai Woffinden , Tom Brennan and Chris Harris in the final. [ 4 ] It was the third successive time that Bewley had won the title, and was the first time a rider had won three in a row since Woffinden in 2015.
The top four teams qualified for the playoffs. The points limit for team construction was reduced from 40 to 38 points. [1] Glasgow defended the Championship title that they won in 2023, while Scunthorpe defended the knockout cup and Poole defended the BSN Series.
