Bora Bora has a total land area of 30.55 km 2 (12 sq mi).
Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora is a luxury resort located at Motu Tehotu on the island of Bora Bora, in the Society Islands of French Polynesia. The Resort is a part of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, a Toronto-based hotel management company. Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora is the company's first and only property in French Polynesia.

Hotel Bora Bora first opened in 1961 [6] [7] and was designed by Hammarberg and Herman. The original design featured 18 thatched-roof huts. [8] Hotel Bora Bora closed in October 2008 for reconstruction. [9] It was scheduled to reopen in 2011, however, it currently remains closed indefinitely. [10]
