Maybe it was a small bug on how the images were referenced by excel, and when you reload it the problem went away. doPDF prints exactly as when you do it via a physical printer, so most likely it was something in excel. nmrusr101.

I checked the dopdf website and it looks like version 7.1 is the current version. I also noticed the last line of the page says: "doPDF is a free PDF converter, it is not a PDF viewer. To view PDF files you will need the free Adobe Reader." Apparently doPDF will open the file (for verification) in Adobe Reader rather than my default reader
I have installed dopdf 8 but it strangely doesnot convert the excel files to pdf and nor does it shows as a printer in the printer dialog box. When I tried to open the dopdf and put the xls file I want to convert into pdf it goes straight to my installed Cannon MP280 deskjet printer and starts printing.
