    I am Fisherman from Baton Rouge, getting back into fishing. I grew up fishing from a boat and that is what I am used to. Currently I do not have access to a boat so bank fishing is my only option. Finding good fishing spots in this area has been a task. Thank you for making this post. P.S.     In fact go West on Atlantic from University, and make the first left into the housing development. All the way down is a park where you can fish that same canal. Other good canal is Atlantic just East of Coral Springs Dr. That canal runs from the C14 down around Coral Springs Park, and through a housing development.

    Sandy River Reservior is another good place, too. Bear Creek is a little way out from Richmond but it is a beautiful place to see and fish.     There are many good tidal bass fishing spots near you or within a reasonable drive. The Nanticoke, Choptank, Pocomoke Rivers, and right in Salisbury's downtown location on the Wicomico River, and most of their tributaries are very good too, that can provide excellent largemouth bass opportunities.

    Location Indiana. Posted February 11, 2009. I live in Terre Haute, have been to Raccoon up north and Mill Creek in Illinois, both of which would be hard to fish from shore. Sullivan is a nice lake, more shore fishing available but still not ideal. The parks are ok, I'd say Fowler has the best bass fishing from shore.
