The Peel District School Board (PDSB; known as English-Language Public District School Board No. 19 prior to 1999 [13] [14]) is a school district that serves approximately 153,000 kindergarten to grade 12 students at more than 259 schools in the Region of Peel (municipalities of Caledon, Brampton and Mississauga) in Ontario, also to the west of Toronto.

The school was named after John Fraser who retired as Director of the Peel District School Board in 1988. [1] The school was established in 1990. [1] In 2002, the school began an expansion which resulted in a new wing being added on to the school to meet the rising population.
It is one of two regional arts schools in the Peel District School Board. Cawthra Park provides instruction to students from grades 9 to 12. Cawthra Park offers a Regional Arts Program, which Peel students may audition to attend. [1] The principal is Steven Keenleyside, and the vice principals are Barbara Gordon and Sian Evans as of March 2024.
