State Highway 9 or Trunk Highway 9 (MN 9, TH 9) is a 225.945-mile-long (363.623 km) state highway in west-central and northwest Minnesota, which runs from its intersection with MN 23 in New London and continues west and then north to its northern terminus at its intersection with US Highway 2 (US 2) in Fairfax Township near Crookston.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) provides primary maintenance for all 921.621 miles of highway. There are no tolled miles on the Minnesota Interstate, with the exception of HOV lanes governed by the E-ZPass program.
Examples include part of the Sibley Memorial Highway that was bypassed in Mendota in the mid 1995 (MN 913A, numbered for former designation MN 13), and Robert Street between I-494 and University Avenue in St. Paul and West St. Paul (MN 952, numbered for former designation US 52).
County Road 9 is Rockford Road from County Road 152 in north Minneapolis to State Highway 55 in Plymouth, where it continues beyond Highway 55 as County Road 24. Most of this highway was the original route of Highway 55 until the current Highway 55 between Medina and downtown Minneapolis was built in 1954.
