Keewaydin State Park is a 282-acre (1.14 km 2) state park [2] in the Town of Alexandria in Jefferson County, New York in the United States. The park is located along the St. Lawrence River , southwest of the Village of Alexandria Bay on New York State Route 12 .
Keewaydin (/ k i ˈ w eɪ d ɪ n / kee-WAY-din) is a neighborhood in the Nokomis community in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its boundaries are Minnehaha Parkway to the north, 34th Avenue to the east, 54th Street to the south, and Cedar Avenue to the west. The neighborhood contains the majority of Lake Nokomis.
Keeywaydin, founded in 1893 is one of several camps on Lake Temagami whose focus is on wilderness canoe trips using traditional equipment such as wood canvas canoes, wannigans, and tumplines. It is 60 acres (240,000 m 2) and has two halves, one is the Keewaydin camp and the other is called Ojibway, which is a resort.
