Shayne was born on September 14, 1991, in Florida, to Catherine Topp (née Person) and Robert Royal Topp, [1] a fighter pilot. [2] He grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, [3] but moved to Los Angeles, California when he was a teenager, where he attended a high school for young actors to be able to continue acting while going to school.
