Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park is a 240 square kilometres (93 sq mi) protected area located in the Western Ghats of West India, in Dharbandora taluk, Goa State, along the eastern border with Karnataka. The area is situated near the town of Molem, 57 kilometres (35 mi) east of Panaji, the state capital of Goa.
It was built in 1960, the first planned market in Goa. [1] The market has three blocks with 164 shops, some of which have been sub-divided, so bringing the total to 173. [ 2 ] It is open every day, except Sunday; and is particularly popular on Friday mornings.
