The Convertible Series 62 had a front bench seat with an armrest like a Deville, as well as the rest of the DeVille features. But you can also tell by the door panels. A Deville had fancier door panels. Also note the DeVille armrest. Also DeVille's had buttoned seats Look at this it's a Deville: (ebay: 250093207505) A Series 62 (note the ...

The difference between a Series 62 Coupe and a Coupe de Ville is mainly interior trim and minor exterior trim differences. Otherwise, same car. Your VIN decodes as 57 = 1957 model year, 62 = 62 Series (includes Series 62, Devilles, and Eldorados), 143540 = build sequence (your car is the 143,539th 1957 Cadillac built out of 146,839).

I wanted also to share the registration number of the vehicle on the small ...

They both had the same chassis and block but the ElDorado had a dual carb with greater HP and much nicer interior appointments along with more standard features and some items that were just not ...
1963 was the last year for the old 4 speed hydramatic transmission. There's nothing really "wrong" with them excepting that they're very old and you really need to bring it to a reputable transmission shop for rebuilding as many places have no clue with them. The 390 was also in its final year for 1963. A good solid engine, the '63 version had ...

Om the way home after driving perfectly for about 90 miles, the car suddenly overheated. Pulled over and let it cool down, refilled some water and started driving again. Got about 1500 feet and suddenly the alternator belt Tore off ...
