1993-96 Fleetwood Steering issues. I've seen several posts mentioning the wayward speed sensitive variable steering assist (or whatever GM calls it) "feature" on the 96-96 Fleetwoods. Lets see if we can get all the issues / symptoms listed here, and I'll try to beat up on a local dealer to see if GM has determined the cause of this and if they ...
That was true for '87 and '88. From '89-'92 it had the same dimensions as the Deville/ FWD Fleetwood. These years also added the 22 way power seats. In '93, the 60 Special was last year's Fleetwood, with the seats as an option. From '94-'95, the Deville had the 4.9L, while the Concours had a 270HP Northstar (275 in '95).
Plug the 2 halves back together to restore the function of the VATS reader. Steps 14 and 15 assume your test worked: 14. If you decide to go with the connectors, install and crimp a male bullet connector to one of the 2 grayish-white wires, and a female on the other. Now do the same for the resistor pack.

The only modification I’ve made is that the vacuum hoses for all the AIR equipment has been bypassed since I removed my AIR pump.
My 96 Fleetwood suspension upgrade. I just purchased 1995 Impala SS (b body) springs for my 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood (D body). My next purchase will be shocks. Here's a list of my proposed suspension set-up. I'm trying to balance looks, performance, comfort and price. 1.) SS springs (X) 3.) HO front/rear sway bar.

I have a 1995 Fleetwood and when I go to turn the signal on (left or right) it clicks on and blinks once or maybe twice and don't blink again until I turn the signal off and turn it back on and blinks again once or maybe twice. So to use my turn signals for now I have to turn it on and let it blink ...
I have pretty similar looking taillight lenses on my deVille, but all the -93… -96 Fleetwood / Fleetwood Broughams that were originally imported to Europe seem to have the U.S. style lights. By the way, my -89 deVille has a euro spec with different rear plate holder, and the Touring Sedan type folding mirrors, for example.
It was optional on various Cadillac models over the years. For example, my '77 Coupe de Ville has this option, so it has four separate horns, each sounding a different note. There's the standard two ("D" and "F") and the two extra that make the "train" sound ("A" and "C"). It sounds especially awesome when driving trough a tunnel.
failing Body Control Module ( BCM ) I have a '94 Fleetwood Brougham, with an intermittent BCM. The dealership want's close to $800 for the part. The wiring harness is fine, and I've designed and built a circuit to generate the PASSKEY signal to the engine PCM. By bypassing this function of the BCM, the car is now drivable at least.
The compressor on the 80-92's is on top of the driver's side wheel well near the firewall, it might be there in the 93-96's. Your car does have air suspension. Don't forget! All have air rear shocks and compressor, yes. The only difference throughout the years, I believe, is that the compressor is in the rear on '93s and in the front on '94-96s.
