1993 Cadillac Deville fender repair. pappy8 Member Posts: 2. October 2003 edited March 2014. The front passenger side fender has a crack above the wheel well. The fender appears to be made of plastic. Can it be repaired?
June 2005. Check the cig. lighter fuses in the trunk fusebox. and make sure there are no shorted lighters and lighter sockets (coins, gum foil etc.) sounds wild but a bad fuse in lighter can cause a dome light to stay on in those Cadillacs, also optimas can and will test or show bad when they are below 10.5 volts.

Cadillac DeVille Steering Problems. lafrance Member Posts: 1. January 2006 edited September 2014. My 2002 Deville has very stiff low speed steering. Worse when it is cold. Local mechanic says this is a common problem with this car and VERY expensive to correct.Must replace entire steering rack.

Cadillac Deville Starting / Stalling Problems. The body control module is located in the truck attached to the upper back seat. you must remove the cover to get to it. They are expensive new, but mine went bad and I found one at a salvage yard for $35.00 which works great. I hope this info helps you clewisl.
Oil consumption was terrible. 2 quart in ~200 mile. Was told that the 2002 cadillacs had bad rings and pistons. Cadillac did nothing about a recall. Mine was still under warrantee, Cadillac put 2003 rings and pistons in it and it does not use more than a pint in 3000 mile now @63,000 mile.
