Kanal D (English: Channel D) is a nationwide television channel in Turkey and part of Demirören Group.It was founded by Ayhan Şahenk and Aydın Doğan in 1993. [1]The network has also run an international channel, Euro D, since 1996, which is available online, and had the first high definition channel in Turkey, Kanal D HD.
Each channel of Kanal D broadcasts around 18 hours of films every day, starting at 06:00. The channel launched in September 1993 in Turkey before the channel launched in Germany (1996), Romania (February 2007), Thailand (2017), Poland (2017) and Italy (2017).
