Sep 13, 2019. #1. I've been out of the game for quite a while. My BCD 396XT was out of commission for a long long time, but I finally sent it to Uniden and had it repaired. I see that FREESCAN is no longer has supported, and I was wondering if there are any other free software downloads for programming the unit out there.
