Cibola Burn is a 2014 science fiction novel by James S. A. Corey (pen name of Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck) and the fourth book in The Expanse series. [1] It follows the crew of the Rocinante as they join the flood of humanity out into the galaxy, using the gates built by the ancient civilization which also produced the protomolecule.

John Horne Burns (October 7, 1916 – August 11, 1953) was an American writer, the author of three novels. The first, The Gallery (1947), is his best known work, was very well received when published, and has been reissued several times.
In 1787, Burns travelled to Edinburgh with the intention of organizing a second edition. He was introduced to publisher William Creech and printer William Smellie, and agreed with them that the new edition should include many additional poems and commission the famous frontispiece portrait, engraved by John Beugo from a painting by Alexander Nasmyth.
Burns's biographer, James Currie, stated that Gilbert Burns, Robert's brother, had the manual in his possession after his father's death and unlike many other Burns manuscripts used by Currie, it remained in the hands of the family, for in 1875 it passed from Gilbert to his youngest son, also Gilbert, who lived in Chapelizod, Dublin.
