The Foundation is a non-profit-making body set up in 2006 after the cession of the Masó House to Girona City Council by the architect's nephew and his wife, the last owners of the building. The GR 92 long-distance footpath, which runs the length of the Mediterranean coast of Spain, uses the historic camí de ronda that follows s'Agaró's coastline.
