The towns and cities of New York's North Country were created by the U.S. state of New York as municipalities in order to give residents more direct say over local government. [1] The North Country consists of Clinton County, Essex County, Franklin County, Jefferson County, Lewis County, and St. Lawrence County.
Radisson is a planned community and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Lysander, Onondaga County, New York, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. [2] The population was 7,038 at the 2020 census. The CDP is in northwestern Onondaga County, in the eastern part of the town of Lysander.
The population of the city mushroomed passing from about 5,000 in 1886 to 42,000 in 1900 and it became, in the process, Canada's third largest city. The appearance of the skyscraper provided visual evidence of growth, the first being the Dominion Building, (13 floors), in 1910, followed by the World (Sun) Tower, (17 floors), in 1912.

The village is roughly 20 miles (32 km) west of the City of Rochester, in the western end of Monroe County, bordering Orleans County. The village is north of the junction of New York State Route 19 (north-south) and New York State Route 31 (east-west) on Sweden's northern line. Brockport is called "the Victorian village on the Erie Canal".
