The Yearly Meeting House in Damascus was used from 1866 until a few years before it was razed in the 1970s. Later, they relocated again, this time to Canton, Ohio. In 1965 the Ohio Yearly Meeting (Damascus) joined the Evangelical Friends Alliance. In 1971 Ohio Yearly Meeting (Damascus) became Evangelical Friends Church – Eastern Region (EFCER).
The Josephinum has been accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS) since 1970. [12] The seminary also holds a Certificate of Authorization from the Ohio Board of Regents. In March 2022, the ATS issued a warning to the institution, as did the HLC in June of the same year.

In 1998 and 1999 they served as missionaries with Mission to the World in Nagoya, Japan where they planted Chita Zion Church, founded the Open House English School, and began an outreach event for young people called Heart & Soul. In January 2004 the Oh family returned as missionaries to Japan and founded CBI Japan. [4]

They included Kairos University which was founded in 2021 by Sioux Falls Seminary, South Dakota, Evangelical Theological Seminary Pennsylvania, Houston Graduate School of Theology Texas and Taylor College and Seminary in Edmonton, Alberta.
