The Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama on Mobile Bay is a historic hotel originally built in 1847. [1] It is listed on the National Registry of the Historic Hotels of America and has been added to the Autograph Collection by Marriott. The original hotel was two-stories with 40 guest rooms. [2]
The hotel was completely restored and the rooms were enlarged, reducing their number to 170. It reopened in 1985 managed by Radisson Hotels as the Radisson Admiral Semmes Hotel. The RSA Battle House Tower is located in Mobile, Alabama and is Alabama's tallest building. [1] The building is owned by the Retirement Systems of Alabama (RSA). It is the tallest on the Gulf Coast of the United States outside Houston [2], although not counting the antenna spire the Hancock Whitney Center in New Orleans remains taller.
