Sally Beaver (voiced by Royal Goodfellow) – A beaver who is one of Elinor, Ari, and Olive's classmates. Mary and Lizzie Goat (voiced by Abigail and Grace Oliver) – Twin goat girls who are Elinor, Ari, and Olive's classmates. Alejandro Possum (voiced by Sergio Di Zio) – A possum whose name is never mentioned in the series.
Beany and Cecil was created by animator Bob Clampett [3] after he quit Warner Bros., where he had been directing short cartoon movies.Clampett is said to have originated the idea for Cecil when he was a boy after seeing the top half of the dinosaur swimming from the water at the end of the 1925 movie The Lost World.
The total cartoons produced for the series were 32 Mighty Mouse cartoons, 32 Heckle & Jeckle cartoons, 16 episodes of "The Great Space Chase" and 16 Quacula cartoons. [ 13 ] The "Space Chase" episodes were edited together into a theatrical matinee movie, Mighty Mouse in the Great Space Chase , which was released on December 10, 1982.
