The 2024 Rally Japan (also known as the FORUM8 Rally Japan 2024) was a motor racing event for rally cars held from 21 to 24 November 2024. [2] It marked the ninth running of the Rally Japan, and was the final round of the 2024 World Rally Championship, World Rally Championship-2 and World Rally Championship-3.
Rally Estonia was also not featured in 2024, but the event is set to return in 2025. [24] The WRC Promoter GmbH was also working on the two key calendar expansions for the future. The 2022 Rally Japan (also known as the FORUM8 Rally Japan 2022) was a motor racing event for rally cars held over four days between 10 and 13 November 2022. [2] It marked the seventh running of the Rally Japan. The event was the final round of the 2022 World Rally Championship, World Rally Championship-2 and World Rally Championship-3.
This was the last of the three world rally wins for the 307 WRC, and also the last win for the Peugeot factory team. The 2006 event was won by Loeb 5.6 seconds ahead of Grönholm. Sébastien Loeb at the Sapporo Dome during the 2008 event. Rally Japan was the fourteenth rally on the World Rally Championship schedule for the 2007 season.
From 1994 to 1996, the World Rally Championship had an event rotation system. The Swedish Rally did not have full WRC status in the 1994 season, the Rally Finland in 1995, and the Monte Carlo Rally and the RAC Rally in 1996. Instead, these rallies were part of the 2-litre "Formula 2" championship that was contested from 1993 to 1999.
