At the Incarnate Word High School San Antonio, Texas classes run on a modular schedule. Each day is broken down into 17 time-periods called "mods." Mods are 20 minutes long, except the lunch mods, which are 26 minutes. The schedule is on a two-week cycle. There are no bells between mods, and students are responsible for arriving to classes on time.

College View Middle School hold students grades 6–8 in Owensboro. The school is named "College View", because it is across the street of Owensboro Community and Technical College. The nickname is the Vikings and colors are purple and white. The middle school feeds into both Apollo High School and Daviess County High School.
Martin County Middle School is located in the former Warfield Middle School building; the school opened as Warfield in 1997 and became Martin County Middle School in 2013. In 1971, John Miles (died 1996) began his term of superintendent. In 1975 Sunset Elementary School was renamed after him. Miles left his position in 1982. [3] James Molley, a teacher in the district, became superintendent in 1994 and held that position until 2002. [4]
Carter Elementary School is located in Carter City, Kentucky. Its mascot is the Wildcat, and the school colors are blue and white. Students advance to both East and West Carter Middle Schools. This building served as a high school until the school was merged with Olive Hill High School to form West Carter High School.
