The Pagani Zonda is a mid-engine sports car produced by Italian sports car manufacturer Pagani. It debuted at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show . Produced on commission in limited units, as of 2019 a total of 140 cars had been built, including development mules .
Pagani Zonda C12. Pagani's first model, the Zonda, is powered by a mid-mounted DOHC V12 engine manufactured by Mercedes-Benz's AMG division. The car's design was inspired by jet fighters and the famous Sauber-Mercedes Silver Arrow Group C cars, and features several unique design elements, including its circular four pipe exhaust system.
After his death a version of the Pagani Huayra (the successor of the Zonda), named "Huayra BC" (Benny Caiola) which is a track focused variant of the original model was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in his honour. [6] Later, in July 2019, an open-top variant of the BC called the Huayra Roadster BC was unveiled. [7]

Lewis Hamilton's former Pagani Zonda 760 LH has been crashed in a tunnel in Wales by the current owner. Hamilton himself had a crash with the car in Monaco back in 2015.
