Emilio Estevez (/ ɛ ˈ m ɪ l i oʊ ɛ ˈ s t ɛ v ə s /; born May 12, 1962) is an American actor and filmmaker. He is the son of actor Martin Sheen and the older brother of Charlie Sheen . Estevez made his theatrical film debut in drama film Tex (1982).
Estevez was born in Dayton, Ohio to a Catholic, Galician (Spanish) father, Francisco Estévez Martínez (1898–1974), and an Irish mother, Mary Anne (née Phelan; 1903–1951). He is one of ten children—nine boys and one girl.
