The Emporium is on the National Register of Historic Places. Sierra Railway No. 3 at the old Jamestown Depot, for the filming of the pilot episode of The Big Valley, 1964. Railtown 1897 is located in Jamestown, California. The entire park preserves the historic core of the original Sierra Railway of California (later reincorporated as the Sierra Railroad).
