The 2022–23 Boston Celtics season was the franchise's 77th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Celtics entered the season as the defending Eastern Conference and Atlantic Division champions, with hopes of claiming a record-breaking eighteenth NBA Championship, having lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games in the 2022 NBA Finals the season prior.
On October 8, 2023, the Celtics and Pritchard agreed to a fully guaranteed four-year, $30 million contract extension. [31] In the 2023–24 season, he saw increased playing time, averaging 22.3 minutes per game, and was the only player on the Celtics roster to play in all 82 regular-season games.
Davison was selected with the 53rd overall pick by the Boston Celtics. On July 8, 2022, the Celtics signed him to a two-way contract. Under the terms of the deal he would split time between the Celtics and their NBA G League affiliate, the Maine Celtics. Davison made his NBA debut on November 11, 2022, in a 131–112 win over the Denver Nuggets.
