In 1945, IU Southeast moved into its own building in Jeffersonville, named the Indiana University Jeffersonville Extension Center. Indiana University Southeast campus is located on Grant Line Road in New Albany, Indiana. The campus spreads over 180 acres (73 ha) just north of I-265 in Southern Indiana. Around 7,000 students attend the school, which is part of the Indiana University system.
