After the previous EF2 dissipated, a new tornado tracked through the downtown area of Yazoo City, which was previously hit very hard on April 24, 2010. Numerous businesses and the Yazoo City courthouse sustained roof and some exterior damage, with one business severely damaged. Windows were also blown out of buildings and trees were uprooted.
