The Heard County School District is a public school district in Heard County, Georgia, United States, based in Franklin. It serves the communities of Centralhatchee , Corinth , Ephesus , Franklin , Glenn , and Houston .
The school was originally known as Franklin High School when there were two high schools in the county. However, after Centralhatchee High School closed in 1954, it was renamed to Heard County High School. The school grounds originally consisted of a small music building, three classrooms, and an auditorium.
Boston schools were closing and a parking ban was in effect. Similar closures and bans were put in place in other cities and towns. Emergency officials had equipment in place to help keep roads clear.
The Heard County School District holds pre-school to grade twelve, and consists of three elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. [13] The district has 132 full-time teachers and over 2,278 students. [14]

Port Huron High School immediately started working with its resource officers, Port Huron Police and the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department. Officers were also sent to the school out of precaution.
