    VHA Helping Hands in Spanish Springs, behind Kerwins ice cream....phone 352-973-2284....you will need to leave a message stating what you need, and they will call you back and arrange to bring it to the location in SS.....all volunteers working, use for free or donations always appreciated. I've borrowed many items many times.

    Installing a system is only as difficult as writing the check to have it done. A heat pump along with a pool cover should do the trick for a small pool. True, but a good heat pump for my 14,000 gallon pool cost $6,000, and solar heating is nearly that much.

Lost power for 23 hours in Historic section of The Villages due to the continuing failure of Duke Energy to upgrade the equipment in the affected area. Duke Energy is well aware of the needed upgrade as this area is the first to lose power and the last to have it restored.
