St Matthew's Church, is an active parish church in the village of Llandefalle, Felin-fach, Powys, Wales. Dating from the 15th century, the church was restored, probably by W. D. Caröe, in the early 20th century. St Matthew's is designated by Cadw as a Grade I listed building.
On September 21, 1986, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte announced the plan for a new church. The congregation, then made up of 237 families, originally met for Mass in the Tower Theater. The altar contains a relic of St Matthew. Entering the main church one passes a fine Spanish lectern from the 15th century. The modern statue of Our Lady, Queen of Peace, is by Mother Concordia OSB. The other statues are the work of Tower and depict St Edward the Confessor, St George (with dragon), St Michael and St Matthew.
