There are two possible uses for the spell, granting either immediate or long-term benefits. If you cast this spell using 1 action, choose a point within range. All normal plants in a 100-foot radius centered on that point become thick and overgrown. A creature moving through the area must spend 4 feet of movement for every 1 foot it moves.
Plant Growth divides your movement speed by 4. 30/4=7.5. Always round down in D&D, so 5. 5 ft. of movement. This seems pretty damn crazy and, more importantly, not particularly fun for any players that get caught in it.
By RAW, there are two things that plant growth can do: create difficult terrain and double harvest yields. Some of the minor effects you mention seem fine, like growing flowers or feeding the party, but I'd be hesitant to allow some of the more in-depth ones.
