Money while in vet school. Hey everyone. I’m applying to vet school for the first time this application cycle. I’ve been doing research on vet schools and the application and stuff since I was at least 9 years old (my earliest memory of it anyway lol, currently 23 and finishing a masters), but one of the areas that is a giant black box to ...

St. George’s Vet school. I'm an pre-vet undergraduate student who applied to veterinary school this past cycle. So far I have been accepted to St. George's vet school, but rejected by all the schools in the US. I wanted to know if someone could help me understand if St. George's presents graduating VM students the same opportunities as the ...

  5. Anki for vet school? : r/veterinaryschool - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/veterinaryschool/comments/f9w8g7/anki_for_vet_school

Anki got me through vet school! It’s way more effective than non-spaced repetition program. If your vet school class has cards already made on quizlet, you can upload quizlet decks to Anki with some formatting - or I made a ton of Anki decks that I’m happy to share with you. Shoot me a message with your email if you’d like me to share ...

  6. How bad is vet school really? : r/Veterinary - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Veterinary/comments/15fww3s/how_bad_is_vet_school_really

The content itself is not incredibly difficult. What makes vet school difficult is more so the volume of information given to you at a time. I tell a lot of undergraduate students that in undergrad there was an endocrine course on a quarter system (10 weeks). In vet school, we had a very similar course, but it was done over the course of 2 weeks.

  7. Vet School, as told by Anki : r/Anki - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Anki/comments/k73sx3/vet_school_as_told_by_anki

How I use Anki: My method of using Anki was to type all lecture notes into separate decks. My decks/subdeck architecture look something like: First year>Fall first year>Anatomy>Exam I>Lecture>Lesson 01 - Dog. It seems like a convoluted way to group things, but studying lecture-by-lecture instead of as a large group helped me build upon each ...

  8. Why is vet school considered so hard and demotivating in here?

    www.reddit.com/r/Veterinary/comments/121swjo/why_is_vet_school_considered_so...

Problem was, vet school couldn't reform those subjects or departments because the professors were either on admin board in vet school, or held a sort of honorary position. Even if, there were people that went abroad to gain better skills and knowledge, usually ended up in a massive conflict with those senior/honorary position professors.

It's definitely worth the investment in time and the stresses of the job are minimal if you find the right workplace. 13. Reply. Absolutkaos24. • 6 yr. ago • Edited 6 yr. ago. I would definitely get some experience working in a clinic. As someone in the field , I would not advise someone to go to vet school as my friend.

  11. How much harder would you say vet school is from undergraduate...

Vet school is more information, but if you've developed a rhythm to digesting lots of information already than you'll be fine. As far as preparing for an increased work load, go most important -> least important and when you arent getting something skip it and ask someone else.
