Bought my xe 2017 today and have the same issue. So far am inclined to think this is compatibly issue with latest android (I own a Pixel 6 pro) not the car but maybe could it be the car Bluetooth module they installed into the 2017 xe ?

Felt the same way driving it last night Yes, I felt the same way when I got a second chance to drive my wife's XE 2.0d for 1.5 hours each way over many different roads (rural) at night and was also unwilling to "gun it" to see how it would respond, as it sounded a bit weak.
Most likely the telematics module died or was internally shorted, I have had the same issue. When the car says sos limited or sos unavailable that points to the telematics module. I would have another dealership take a second look at it, I have a jaguar xe 2017 and currently waiting for the telematics to come back in stock.

I have a Jaguar XE R-Sport 2016. I love it, no two ways about it. The last week or so, when I unlock my car, the centre console does not come alive, no air-conditioning, no media, no infotainment screen. On the dash the only warnings that come up are, AEB, Camera Fault and LDW Fault.
