Every time I put the radio on 94.5 The Buzz there's always a song on that's 10-20 years old. I feel like the DJ's here in the Houston area are stuck playing what they think ...
But basically what I did here is assembled my favorite hard rock hits that were often played in the 00s, then added a few lesser-known songs from the 00s, as well as a chunk of bangers from the 2010s and even last year + this year. I hope you'll find that it captures the essence of The Buzz, as it was in the 2000s, fairly accurately.
ADMIN MOD. Does 94.5 the buzz *ever* change their song rotation? I'm sitting here on 45 listening to the radio. I work from home most days so I don't typically have the radio on but maybe once every 2 or 3 months. I feel like for the last few years it has been the exact same songs on 94.5 over, and over, and over.
Dinah Powers formerly of 94.5 The Buzz has passed away. I was bummed when she left the show last year, she carried that show. rip. She made the rod ryan show, she was so funny and and would always say whatever was on her mind. rip. Adding this for anyone who is a woman or who has any women in their life:

Yeah for real, fuck his cliffhangers, that shit is obnoxious as fuck. I honestly didn't know that 94.5 the buzz was still a thing. man I miss Rock 101 and even more, 106.9 ZROCK. When Rock 101 changed, I tried XM radio, but decided if I’m going to pay, I may as well listen to what I want, when I want, so Spotify.
Just came home driving and it seems like the HD2 channel for the buzz no longer exists. The radio shows other station's HD channels no problem but it seems like it disappeared overnight. Can't find anything online about it. Same thing happened with the alt 93.7 HD2 "the loop", no notice or anything. Anyone know what happened?
945 is one of the worst radio stations of Houston. They play the same 10 rock songs from the 90s and early 2000s, and the same same 10 crap alternative songs from 2015-2017. For the Rod Ryan show, most of the games they play are just stupid, the advertising is beyond annoying and if i hear another lifelock, budlight or mattress firm self ad I ...
The buzz plays Lincoln Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Offspring, Nirvana in HEAVY rotation. Most of the songs they play were good. 20+ years ago. But not 6 times a day, everyday for 20 years good.
Reel Big Fish's last release was 2012, but get lots of play on sister stations in other cities, are currently on their 25th Anniversary Tour, and come to Houston annually. The Dollyrots just released a new album, and should be familiar to Houstonians since they tour with Bowling for Soup. 2.
