Use a LITTLE heat! Pull the tip off with pliers while applying the heat. Make sure you find a new Rod tip with the same size barrel that fits over your Rod tip. Kits come with a stick of melt glue. Heat the end of the glue stick, then rub it on Rod tip and immediately push new Rod tip on and position correctly.

A good friend of mine sold a pile of $350.00 rods by placing them in their hand and letting them try it on the water. When they came back from fishing most dropped their credit card on the desk while others came back later and did the same. Most people would say a cat fishing guy (like me) doesn’t need a sensitive much less expensive high end ...

I never really use more than 5 colors, so I tend to stick with size 27 linecounters. You’ll want a line-counter type reel (even if it doesn’t have a counter, you’ll want ...

If you are in the $30-$50 range, then the the Cabelas branded Quick Tip is great. If you are thinking $50-$70 range the TUCR Inferno rod in Medium is great. My personal favorite is my TUCR Fusion for $119. But again, your idea of for the money is the first thing to nail down. holmsvc.
