Gray is an American experimental band formed by artist Jean-Michel Basquiat and filmmaker Michael Holman in 1979, of whom filmmaker Vincent Gallo was also a member. The group was influenced by the members' artist backgrounds and the sonic experimentation of their contemporaries in New York 's No Wave scene.
The band released its first and only album Ro Sham Bo on February 22, 1994, on Epic Records. The album's lead single was the song “Very Best Years”. [ 4 ] The song was accompanied by a music video; it was the only song to receive a promotional video. [ 5 ] “

In 1937, the band overwhelmingly voted in favor of Glen leading the orchestra, and Gray finally accepted the job. Hits included "Casa Loma Stomp," "No Name Jive" and "Maniac's Ball". Part of the reason for the band's decline is that other big bands included in their books hard-swinging numbers emulating the hot Casa Loma style.
